I am so happy blessed for being able to get the services here, classes, therapy, my mentor caseworker, they help me with my chronic PTSD and depression; underground railroad helps me understand what I went through and so many women don't survive and some do and ways to prevent and have a shield on me know the signs and I learned from that and not to be hard on myself, women/men are not crazy it's called battered woman's syndrome and the underground railroad and classes in Ypsilanti for domestic violence meridians help me grow love myself, focus on the best, and now I love doing groups with other women, we understand each other and can help give advice to other people that's going through domestic violence. I know my case happened almost 10yrs ago but honestly I don't plan on going backwards these classes help "Speak up" let your voices be heard it's never too late and your not alone and your not crazy. I will continue to get services here, probably for the rest of my life now which I'm not ashamed of, I am happy and blessed to be a member here and a survivor of domestic violence.
