Statistics show that the longer an individual is connected to treatment, the greater their chances of maintaining continued abstinence. The unfortunate reality is that despite this understanding, many facilities continue to cut the length of time in treatment. Tara continues to offer 30-42 days of residential care. Continued treatment, when appropriate, is provided in our Transitional Residential Program. In contrast to the typical hospital setting, the environment at Tara is closer to the accommodations within a home. Coupled with the caring and compassionate staff, many find this to be ideal for their mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.
I have a daughter 6 years sober. She has been encarcerated as a 1st time offender. She is likely to be released soon and would like to continue recovery in a structured environment not near her home town. Her ultimate goal is to gain success employment and become self sufficient living independently. As well as continue to help others. Can you help with this or give me any direction? Thank You, Terri
