  • About Wyoming Rescue Mission - Women's Transformation Center

Wyoming Rescue Mission - Women's Transformation Center located in Casper, WY provides sober housing for women.

    Detailed description details:

CWRM provides food, shelter and assistance to anyone in need, and offers those who are addicted and downtrodden the opportunity to overcome their cycle of homelessness through our Long-Term Residential 12-step Recovery Program.

No mandatory spiritual activity is necessary to receive emergency services.

Whether you find yourself in need, or someone you know is homeless, abused or addicted, CWRM is here to help.

Rather than offering a handout that worsens the plight of the homeless and enables the continuation of addictive behavior, CWRM offers a hand up through holistic programming (body, mind and spirit), counseling and the expression of Christian love by the dedicated ministry staff.

Through our faith-based, 12-step recovery program, CWRM helps our guests by allowing them to address the problems that led to their crisis. Support and counseling in a structured and safe environment help provide our guests with the tools needed to attain successful independent living.

    We Offer:

Meals are prepared in our kitchen daily for CWRM guests and members of the community.

Shelter is available for those in distress at the New Life Center for men, and at the Transformation Center for women and children. For an overnight stay or a long term program residency, all those in need are welcome.

Clothing and other gently used household items are provided for our guests, CWRM graduates, and members of the community through CWRM Thrift. A voucher system assures items are available for free for those in need. Laundry service is available 5 days a week for men, women and children in our Emergency Shelter Program.

Case Management is provided for men and women who are guests of CWRM, as well as for some individuals from the community who desire to make positive life changes.

Christian Counseling is available to CWRM guests through program directors, case managers, and Chaplain Steve Gunderson. Physical, mental, financial and spiritual wholeness referrals are often made on behalf of CWRM guests and any community members to any appropriate human services agencies in the Rocky Mountain region that can be of assistance to help attain physical, mental, financial and spiritual wholeness.
