The Atlantic City Rescue Mission meets a critical need in a five-county area of southern New Jersey by serving all populations of homeless men, women and mothers with children. The Mission provides emergency shelter services and food in addition to its being a full-service, Christian social service organization. Structured programs in addiction recovery, work readiness, family services, referral, primary health care, mental health case management and other services are offered within the 312-bed facility. The Mission serves over 3,000 people each year and is unique in the area in that it offers services to unsubsidized clients.
