As a comprehensive, community-based behavioral health organization, ACTS mission is to apply the best of contemporary physical and behavioral health interventions and social support services available to assist individuals and families to engage and succeed in recovery.The ACTS Outpatient Detox program provides a smart recovery treatment model, psycho-educational groups, health and nutrition classes and random drug screenings. Program services address the withdrawal stages, the negative effects of substance abuse/use and co-occurring issues. Individuals who are detoxifying from drugs are screened by a nurse, physician, and therapist and may receive prescription medications to reduce the severity of withdrawal symptoms.
