In 2005 Redeem-Her opened its first transitional house in Roebling, NJ. The house sadly closed in 2008 due to the cost of repairs. That same year we opened our second transitional house in Toms River, NJ, which is still running strong to this day. The house provides a home to eight transitioning women in recovery giving them the freedom from prison bars that would not be possible without our help.The women we serve are women returning home from jail, prison, or rehab. This is how we help: all the women who live in the Redeem-Her house must have a job, practice a strong recovery program, abide by all house rules, parole, and probation guidelines, and must be progressive.
