This program is designed for those who are struggling with addiction, and life's challenges as a result of abusing drugs and/or alcohol. Our focus is on education, community building, and group therapy. Groups are kept small in order to provide the necessary tools for successful treatment. Family members are required to be involved in the clients treatment program, and are educated in order to understand and assist their family member's recovery. Core topics are : Brain Chemistry of Addiction, Cravings, Stress in Early Recovery, Stages of Change, Moods & Feelings, Defense Mechanisms, Post Acute Withdrawal, and other topics that educate the client addict in the seriousness of the disease.
